Why Are My Social Media Accounts Showing as Locked?

When managing multiple social media accounts through SocialPilot, you may occasionally encounter issues where some of your accounts become locked. These locked accounts can hinder your ability to manage and schedule posts effectively, which is why it's important to address the issue promptly. This can happen for a variety of reasons.

  1. Upgrade Your Plan

  3. Removing Some Accounts

Upgrade Your Plan

If you need to connect more social accounts than your current plan allows, the simplest solution is to upgrade to a higher-tier plan. SocialPilot offers a variety of plans designed to accommodate different needs, including those requiring more social account connections.

Here is how you can upgrade you plan on SocialPilot:

  1. Log into your SocialPilot account and go to the Subscription by clicking on the Profile setting from the top-right corner. On the Subscription page, you will see your current plan highlighted. Next to it, you will find the option to Upgrade.
  2. Click on Upgrade to view the pricing and features of all available plans.

  1. After selecting your plan, enter your billing address by filling in the required fields, including your name, address, city, state, and country.
  2. Once your billing address is set, choose to pay via credit card or PayPal. Enter the necessary information, such as your card number, expiration date, and CVV.
  3. After entering all required information click Next to finalize the payment process.
  4. Upon successful payment, your plan will be upgraded, and you will immediately gain access to the new features and account limits.

Customize Your Plan With Add-Ons

If you prefer not to upgrade your entire plan but still need to connect more accounts, SocialPilot offers the option to purchase customizable add-ons. These add-ons allow you to increase the number of connected accounts without changing your core plan.

Here is how you can customize you plan with add-ons:

  1. On the Subscription page, next to your current plan, you will see the option to Customize. Click on it to access the available add-ons and customization options for your plan.

  1. In the Customize Plan pop-up window, you will see a list of features that you can add to your current plan. Click on the add on you want. You will see summary of your selected add-ons will be displayed along with the updated total cost.
  2. Once you are satisfied with your selections, click on Pay Now.
  3. After completing the payment, your plan will be updated with the new features or capacities immediately.

If upgrading or adding accounts is not an option, you have one last option - you need to delete some of your connected accounts to stay within your plan’s limits.

Remove Some Accounts

If upgrading or purchasing add-ons isn't feasible, you may need to remove some of your currently connected accounts to stay within your plan's limits. This is a straightforward way to comply with the restrictions of your current plan.

Here is how you can remove some accounts on SocialPilot:

  1. Log into SocialPilot and go to the Manage Accounts section. You will see the list of connected social accounts to identify and remove accounts that are less critical to your social media strategy.
  2. Now locate the Delete button beside the account and click on it to remove the account.

By managing your account connections this way, you can continue using SocialPilot effectively without exceeding your plan's allowances.
