How to Set a Default URL Shortener on SocialPilot?

Setting a default URL shortener in SocialPilot streamlines the process of managing links across your social media posts, ensuring consistency and ease of tracking.

Here is how you can connect and authorize your URL shortener on SocialPilot:

1. Go to the SocialPilot dashboard and click on Setup > URL Shortening from the left panel.

2. On the URL Shortenening page, select the Shortener you wish to set as default and click on Connect.

3. Once you click on Connect, it will take you to another tab where you need to sign in to your already existing Shortener account.

For example, if you select Bitly as your Shortener your screen will look something like this:

4. Now, sign in with your account or sign up if you don't have any pre-existing Shortener account. After this, you will see a screen asking you to authorize SocialPilot to use your account.
5. Click on Allow and go back to the SocialPilot tab after authorization.

5. Click on the three dots next to your chosen URL shortener, and select Set as Default.

Your Shortener account is now connected.
