How to Post Long Tweets With Twitter Premium Accounts?

With SocialPilot, premium users can post tweets of up to 25,000 characters. Follow these steps:

  1. Connect your Twitter Premium account to SocialPilot.
  2. Go to the Create Post section.
  3. Enter your content up to 25000 characters in the text box. A character counter will automatically display the number of characters used.

💡 Note: If you exceed the 280-character limit, SocialPilot will continue you to write text upto 25,000 characters.

  1. Schedule or publish the tweet as usual.

💡 Note: If you are using the Bulk Schedule feature, the character count validation works the same way, ensuring that non-premium accounts are excluded from posts exceeding the 280-character limit.

How to Identify and Manage Premium Twitter Accounts?

SocialPilot makes it easy to differentiate between verified and non-verified accounts. Here’s how to identify and manage them:

  1. When a Twitter account is connected to SocialPilot or when you are selecting account to schedule a post, the system automatically checks for verification and subscription status.
  2. Look for the checkmark next to the account name in your account list.
  • Blue Check: Standard verification
  • Gray Check: Government verification
  • Yellow Check: Business verification

Character Limit Validation Based on Twitter Subscription Type

When creating or scheduling posts, SocialPilot automatically validates the character count based on the type of Twitter account:

  • For Standard Accounts: Tweets are limited to 280 characters.
  • For Premium Accounts: Tweets can go up to 25,000 characters.
  • Error: If a tweet exceeds the allowed character limit for the account type, an error message will be shown, and non-eligible accounts will be removed from the post queue.
