Facebook Analytics Metrics
Facebook analytics includes metrics for both page performance and post-performance trends. Here are the metrics included in Facebook analytics:
Total Page Likes: This data block represents the unique number of likes your page has received since its inception.
Page Reach: Number of people who saw content from your page or about your page on their screens. It includes the percentage change in the metric from the previous time period.
New Fans: This metric shows the number of new people who liked your page in the selected time period and the percentage change from the previous timeline.
Posts Published: Number of posts published in the time frame selected by you. These include texts, links, images, videos, polls, etc.
Audience Growth: Audience growth is a graph that gives you the number of Likes (Total, Net, organic, and Paid) and Unlikes you have received on your page for the selected time period. This metric is shown in PST. The percentage given under Audience Insights shows the percentage of change in the number of fans (people who liked your page) in the present time period compared to the one previous to it.
Most Active Commenters: This list shows the account names of the people on Facebook who have left the highest number of comments on all your posts combined. Each account name is accompanied by the number of comments they have added during the time period you have selected.
Most Active Likers: This list displays the names of the Facebook accounts that have given the most likes on all your posts combined. Each account name is shown alongside the total number of likes they have given during the selected time period.
Most Active Shares: This list shows the names of the Facebook accounts that have shared your posts the most. Each account name is accompanied by the total number of shares they have made during the selected period.
Posts Published: This metric gives you the total number of posts that have been posted during the time that you have selected to view the analytics for.
Post Reactions: This refers to the number of likes or other reactions received on your content that has been published during the selected time period.
Post Engagement: The number of people who liked, commented, shared, or performed any type of click on the posts published in the specified period of time.
Post Video Plays: Total views on video posts published during the selected time period.
Post Shares: Total number of times your posts that were published during the selected time period got shared on the platform.
Publishing Trend: This graphical view distinctly points to the number of posts from each content type you have published. If you hover over a particular point on the graph, it will give you the exact numbers as well as the percentage break-up for each type of post.
Median Reach and Engagement: This section shows the comparative view for reach and engagement for each type of content you post on your Facebook page. We do this by finding the medians of the reach and engagement for every type of post so they can be compared more sensibly. This pretty much gives us a clear picture of which type of your content is being liked by the audience the most.
Post Performance: Post Performance details the reach, engagement rate, reactions, and shares for all your individual posts shared during the specified time period. Along with the aforementioned metrics, you can also see view times for your videos and reels in this section. You can sort this list based on the types of posts.
Popular Hashtags: This section at the end of the Post section gives a visual representation of some of the most popular hashtags you have used in your content.
Page Views: This metric block shows the total number of people who have visited your Facebook page for any length of time during the period selected for the report. It also includes the percentage change in the views compared to the previous time period.
Page Views Trend: This graph helps you track the number of views your page has accumulated per day over a selected time period. You’ll also be able to compare the current value of the metric to the number your page received in the previous period as the percentage of change.
Top Countries By Page Fans: This metric highlights the leading countries where your Facebook page has garnered the most fans who have liked your page. Each number represents the percentage of fans out of the total number who belong to the respective country.
Top Cities By Page Fans: This metric is a more focused extension of the previous graph, showcasing the leading cities where your Facebook page has attracted the highest number of fans or page likes. Each number represents the percentage of fans out of the total number who belong to the respective city.
Post Impressions: The number of views all your posts together have garnered over the designated time period, along with the percentage change compared to the previous period.
Post Comments: Total number of comments your page received compared to the number received in the previous time period.
Publishing Trend: This section represents a graphical view that distinctly points to the number of posts from each content type you have published.
If you hover over a particular point on the graph, it will give you the exact numbers as well as the percentage break-up for each type of post.
Post Impressions Trend: This is a trends graph that tells you the number of times any content from your page appeared on the audiences’ screens. The impressions gotten from organic and paid means are both shown separately. Viral impressions are the percentage of impressions your content gets from people because their friends interacted with it. This metric is shown in PST.
Engagement Trend: Engagement trend provides you with all the metrics that show how your audience interacted with your posts with some click actions- reactions, comments, and shares or any other type of activity such as answers, claims, and check-ins.
Instagram Analytics Metrics
Instagram analytics in SocialPilot offers metrics for overall profile performance as well as data specific to each content format. Here is what is included in Instagram analytics:
Followers: Total number of followers on your Instagram page. This metric doesn’t change according to the different time-frame you choose. It shows you the total count of followers you have on your Instagram profile.
Profile Views: Total number of people who visited your Instagram profile within the selected period of time.
Profile Reach: The number of unique accounts who have seen any content from your Instagram profile on their screens in the selected time period. Repeated views from the same person are not counted.
Profile Impressions: The total number of times content from your Instagram profile appeared on the screen of other Instagram users within the selected timeframe.
Profile Interaction: The total number of actions such as likes, saves, comments, shares or replies received on all types of content published in the period in question on your profile.
New followers: The New Follower graph shows the number of followers you have gained in the last 30 days. It gives you a graphical representation of the number of new followers against a particular date. On the right-hand side, you will see the number of new followers gained.
📋 Note: As per Instagram's API guidelines, Audience Demographics, Locations, and Followers' Online Activity sections would be visible only if the Instagram account has more than 100 followers.
Profile Reach Summary: A bar graph showing how many times each of your content types appeared on a unique screen. Each type represents all reach for all the published posts of that category. You can also see the percentage change of total reach compared to the previous time period.
Profile Impression Trend: A graph representing the number of times content from your profile appeared on screens. This includes multiple views of your content by the same accounts.
Profile Interaction Summary: This shows the interaction (likes, saves, comments, shares, or replies) received by each type of content from your profile. Also, the percentage change in the number from the previous time is shown below the graph.
Audience Demographics: In this section, you get the specific metrics of your audience demographics based on the age and gender of your profile visitors.
In the age and gender graph, you will see the number of males and females gender-unspecific against their age group. Also, on the right side, you will see a pie chart distinguishing between the percentage of different gendered visitors on your profile. All this data is retrieved from Instagram.
Top Cities By Followers: This shows the cities with the highest number of followers of your profile.
Top Countries By Followers: This shows the countries with the highest number of followers of your profile.
Follower Online Activity: This section will help you find the best time to post on your Instagram account. The graphical representation summarizes the chosen period data and shows you the number of followers present online at each hour of the day. The data chart is shown according to the users' time zone.

Posts Published: Total number of posts that were published within the time frame selected to view the analytics.
Post Reach: This refers to the number of unique users who have seen your Instagram posts, including photo, video, and carousel posts, at least once within the selected time period. All the metrics in the post-overview section reflect the percentage change in them as compared to the value in the previous time period.
Post Impressions: The total number of times content from your Instagram profile appeared on the screen of other Instagram users within the selected timeframe.
Post Interactions: The total number of meaning the sum of post likes, comments, shares, and saves received in the period in question on your profile, along with the percentage change comparison.
Post Likes: Number of likes your posts that were published within the time period in question have gotten.
Post Comments: Total comments made on your posts that were published within the time period in question.
Post Saves: Number of published posts that were saved by the audience within the given time frame.
Post Shares: Number of posts which were that were shared by other Instagram users within the time period in question have gotten.
Post Reach Trend: The Reach section shows you how many unique people viewed your posts. You can also monitor on which day your posts have the maximum reach.
Post Interaction Trend: This is the graphical representation of the number of likes, comments, saves, and shares you have received on your posts in between the chosen time period.
Post Performance: This section has engagement data for all the posts you have uploaded during the chosen time period. You can also re-share your top-performing posts right from the analytics tab. Here are the elements present in this table:

Post Hashtag Performance: This section ranks your best hashtags based on their average reach, average interactions, and the number of times they have been used in a post.
Reels Published: Number of reels published in the selected time period.
Reels Reach: The unique number of people who saw your reels.
Reels Interactions: This includes all the engagement on your reels, including likes, shares, saves, and comments.
Reels Likes: The likes on all your reels published within the selected time period.
Reels Plays: Total number of times your reels were played.
Reels Saves: The number of unique accounts that have saved your reels.
Reels Comments: The total number of comments all your Reels garnered during the time in question.
Reel Shares: This indicates the number of times Instagram users have shared all the Reels you have published in the aforementioned time.
Reels Reach Trend: This section gives you the exact number of unique viewers your Reel has had as well as the trend of the viewer count over the time period you have selected. Under the graph, the percentage change of the reach as compared to the previous time period and the exact number of reach for the selected time frame is available for you.
Reels Interaction Trends: This graph gives you the break-up of the number of viewer interactions your reel has generated for the duration you have opted for. The metrics include the number of likes, comments, shares, and saves. The graphical view helps you determine the date when your content scored the highest interactions.
On the right side of the graph, under Interaction Insights, you will find the latest numbers of viewer engagement and change percentage in the total interaction.
Reels Performance: This section shows a detailed breakdown of all the metrics which reveal the performance of your Reels, individually. You will get the following data in the Reels performance section:
- Publishing date and time (displayed according to user's time zone)
- Reel caption and preview image
- Reach
- Interactions
- Likes
- Comments
- Saves
- Shares
You will also get the link to go to each and every Reel you publish.
Reel Hashtag Performance: Just like the hashtag performance Posts, there is one available for your Reels as well. Here you will find the most popular hashtags with the average reach and interactions they accrued along with the number of Reels they were used in.
Stories Published: Number of stories you published in the last 24 hours.
Stories Reach: Total number of unique people who saw your Stories.
Taps Forward: The number of times people tapped to see the next photos or videos in your stories.
Taps Back: The number of times people tapped to replay your Story again.
Exits: The number of times people swiped out of your stories before they ended.
Stories Interactions: This is indicative of all the engagement on your Stories, including likes, shares, and replies.
Stories Replies: Number of replies on your stories.
Stories Shares: This metric represents the number of times you published Stories were shared by other Instagram users on the platform.
Stories Navigation and Replies: Here you can get a proper idea of how people are interacting with your Stories. The graph shows you the number of Replies, Taps Back, Taps Forward, and Exits you have received on all your stories in the past 24 hours.
Stories Performance: This section has a wealth of information to evaluate the performance of your individual story. You can see the following data for all the stories you have uploaded in the past 24 hours:

Twitter (X) Analytics Metrics
Here is what is included in Twitter Analytics from SocialPilot:
Followers: This figure shows the total number of followers your X account has.
Following: This metric indicates the total number of Twitter profiles or pages you are following currently.
Tweets: This represents the total number of posts that have been published from your account in its whole lifetime.
Daily Tweets: This shows us the number of tweets you post daily from your account each day of your selected time period.
Tweet Frequency: Tweet Frequency refers to the number of times you tweet at different hours of the day. When you visualize the data for more than one week, you will be able to see the frequency for overall individual days of the week.
Content-Type: The Content-Type refers to the type of tweets you post - Text tweet, Image/Link tweet, Video tweet - and the number of re-tweets your tweets received. All the Engagement Insights that are shown to you are authentic data that you have received on your Twitter posts.
Engagement Insights: This section shows the summarized version of the engagement your Twitter (X) posts have gained in the given time, including total tweets, total engagement, retweets (times your own tweets were retweeted), and favorites (the number of people who have clicked the star-shaped favorite button under your tweets).
Audience Engagement: Audience engagement shows you the number of likes, replies, and retweets your tweets have received, along with engagement insights in figures. All the engagements that you received are shown to you in a date-wise format in the graphical section.
Tweet Performance: The performance of your individual tweets during the specified time period is detailed here. You can sort the list based on popularity, most retweeted, and most favorite.
Mention Overview: This section gives you details on the mentions your content has had on Twitter (X) over the time in question.
- Total Mentions: This number is the total number of mentions you have got from other Twitter profiles.
- Total Users: This number represents the number of unique profiles on Twitter that have mentioned you one or multiple times over the time period you have selected.
- Likes/Retweets: This figure gives us the number of tweets or retweets in which you have got mentions in.
Top Tweet Mentions: Under this section, you can see the tweets that have mentioned your Twitter handle (@handle) and have received the most impressions.
Top Supporters: Under this metric, you can see your followers who have the maximum number of followers themselves.
Popular Hashtags: This section visually represents the top hashtags with maximum usage that have also been used in your tweets.
LinkedIn Analytics Metrics
SocialPilot provides analytical insights for personal profiles as well as Linked Company Pages. Here are the metrics included in LinkedIn analytics:
Total connections: The total number of connections the profile has on the current date.
Total Posts: The total number of posts that were published for the selected period.
Total Comments: The sum of comments (excluding replies) of all posts published in the selected period.
Total Reactions: The sum of all reactions on posts published in the selected period.
Total Engagement: The sum of all the reactions and total comments received on all the posts published in the time selected.
📋 Note: All these data blocks (except for total connections) also show the percentage of change in them since the last time period to the selected one.
Publishing Trend: The publishing trend accounts for all the posts published during the time you selected, segregated by their formats. The publishing trend is shown in a graphical format, mapping the timeline in respect to the type of post published. The types of content considered include:
- Text
- Image
- Video
- Article (Link)
- Document (Carousel post)
- Other (polls, job postings, etc)
Engagement Trend: This is the graphical presentation of reactions and comments received on the posts published on the given date. The comments and reactions are mapped by different trend lines.
Median and Total Engagement: This graph shows how each of your content types performed in terms of engagement by comparing their median and actual total values. Total engagement is the sum of reactions and comments. In contrast, the median engagement is derived as the median value of engagement for all the corresponding post types.
Weekly Engagement: This graph displays the total engagement received by the posts you have published in the time, grouped by days in the week. This can reveal the engagement trend depending on each weekday.
Post Performance: The post-performance table shows the list of posts of the LinkedIn profile account based on the selected report period with the following metrics:
- Reactions
- Comments
- Engagement (the sum of comments and reactions)
Some of the posts have a Reshare button on them, clicking on which can help you reschedule them from the analytics dashboard.
Note: You can access the LinkedIn profile analytics by selecting any of the given date ranges. However, you can select customizing the date range for personal profiles as of now.

Total Followers: This metric represents the total number of followers your LinkedIn company page currently has.
Total Posts: This number gives the number of posts published for a selected period.
Follower Growth: This metric is indicative of the number of new followers a page gains over a period of time.
Total Impressions: This gives the number of times your content was visible on a LinkedIn user's screen. This includes posts, videos, updates, and articles.
Total Page Likes: This number denotes the number of likes your LinkedIn page has received.
Total Page Clicks: The figure shows how many times users clicked on a LinkedIn page's content, company information, or ads.
Total Growth Trend: A dynamic graph showing the exact change in the number of followers for each day of the selected time period. You can also see the total number of followers and the percentage change in the figure for the aforementioned time.
Employee Seniority: This graph represents the number of followers you have in regard to employee seniority. The hierarchical categories are Entry level, Senior, Manager, Director, and VP.
Company Size: This trend graph shows the followers you have based on their company size.
Location: This metric shows the top 5 locations where the profile's followers belong.
Job Function: This graph is indicative of the percentage of followers belonging from different professional backgrounds, including Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations, Sales, and Human Resources.
Reach/Impression Trend: The Reach/Impression Trend shows you how many people viewed your posts/updates. You can also monitor on which day your posts have the maximum reach under Impressions Overview. This section also shows the percentage change in the impressions, comparing the number of the current time period you selected to that of the previous time period to that.
Audience Engagement: Engagement Trend shows you the total number of likes and comments your posts received. Monitor your engagement trends to see which type of post works best for your audience. Under the Engagement Insights, you will see the individual number of likes and comments, as well as the change in their percentage compared to the previous time period is also displayed. Also, the integrated change in the percentage of engagements is calculated for the time selected compared to that of the previous one.
Post/Update Analytics: Post/Update Analytics helps you monitor your favorite and popular posts and show you the posts that get the maximum likes and comments.
This section includes all types of LinkedIn posts, including text, images, videos, polls, multiple images, articles, etc. Also, you can re-share your most engaging posts right from the analytics tab.
Google Business Profile Analytics Metrics
SocialPilot's Google Business Profile analytics reports give you a peek into how people find your business listing on Google, interact with your posts, and act after visiting your listing. Here the metrics included in Google Business Profile analytics:
Total Impressions: This value indicates the total number of times your business profile was found by people. You can also discover the percentage change in total impressions compared to the previous time period.
Average Rating: This is the mathematical average of the ratings received by your business on Google Business from visitors for the said time.
Total Reviews: This number represent s the total number of reviews received by your business on Google in the entirety of its existence.
Total Actions: This figure is indicative of the total number of actions taken on your business’s profile on Google. These actions include visits to your website, requests for directions, and calls.
Total Conversations: This shows the number of calls and messages received from people using your Google listing.
Total Impressions by Platform and Device: This section shows a breakdown of all the impressions your page got through Google search or maps. The pie chart also shows whether those impressions were received on a desktop or mobile device.
Impressions Trend by Platform: This section of insights shows how many customers found you via Google Search or Google Maps within the selected period of time. See the number of views your listing received:
- Listing on Search: Number of customers who found your business via Google Search.
- Listing on Maps: Number of customers who found your business via Google Maps.
Customer Actions (by type): This section shows how customers behave after they find your listing on Google. See the types of actions your customers performed when viewing your listing:
- Visit your website: Number of customers who viewed your website.
- Request directions: Number of customers who requested directions to your business.
- Call you: Number of customers who called your business.
Customer Actions: Days of the Week: This section shows a graphical breakdown of the actions (visit your website, request directions, call you) taken on your listing on each day of the week for the selected time period.
Customer Reviews: In this section, you will be able to see every review your listing has received within the selected period. Check out the dates they were given, the name of the person who wrote them at the specific time, along with the star rating given to your page. You can check at a glance whether you have responded to a review.
YouTube Analytics Metrics
As a part of full-fledged YouTube automation, SocialPilot enables you to see in-depth analytics for all the YouTube channels you have connected to the platform. Here are the metrics included in YouTube analytics:
Total Posts: This number represents the actual number of videos and Shorts posted during the time frame you have selected. The percentage at the bottom of the block shows the change in the metric in comparison to the previous time frame.
Total Subscribers: This number simply denotes the total subscribers the selected YouTube channel has at present.
Subscribers Gained: This number tells you exactly how many new subscribers your channel has gained during the time frame in question. This number does not reveal the total number of current subscribers your channel has. You can see the exact number of subscribers added as well as the percentage gained.
Subscribers Lost: This is the metric that notifies the number of subscribers your channel has lost in the time frame you have selected. This metric, like its predecessor, does not include the total subscribers you have. Again, you will see the exact number and the loss percentage along with it.
Channel Watch Time: This figure shows the total watch time in minutes, which refers to the aggregate time all viewers have spent watching any and all videos on your YouTube channel within the defined timeframe.
Avg. View Duration: Average watch time on YouTube denotes the time (in minutes) each viewer spends watching a video on your channel, including playbacks. If this metric is high, it signifies that your content is engaging and holding people for longer periods of time.
Engagement: This metric is calculated as the sum of all the likes, dislikes, comments and shares on all the videos you have posted on your channel in the time period in question here.
Views: This gives the compiled number of views you’ve got on all your videos and shorts on your channel in the selected time frame.
Subscriber Growth: This is a graphical representation of the number of subscribers gained or lost compared to the net subscribers for the given time period.
Audience Demographic: In this section, you will be able to see a graphical breakdown of the percentage of viewers your videos got based on age groups and genders. The viewers are segregated into seven age groups, and each group has been broken down into three genders. You can find what percentage of your audience belongs to which section.
Countries With the Most Engagement: This graph shows the countries that engage with your content the most. Here engagement is considered as the sum of total likes and dislikes, comments and shares. YouTube displays the total values for likes, dislikes, and comments as positive or negative numbers, reflecting user actions. Consequently, engagement may occasionally be recorded as zero.
Engagement Trend: This trend graph shows the number of likes, shares, comments and dislikes your channel has received every day of the selected time periods. The values of these metrics are given in exact numbers.
Views on Videos and Shorts: As the name suggests, this graph shows the views your channel has received during the time frame you have selected. There are two separate trend lines showing the views for videos and Shorts separately.
Device Type: This graph shows the types of devices and the number of your viewers who used which of them to watch videos from your YouTube channel.
Operating System Insights: This section of the metrics shows the number of viewers who have utilized a particular type of operating system to watch videos from your channel. The graph gives you insights into the top types of OS and how many of your users have used them to run YouTube to watch your videos.
Top Search Keywords: This is a list of keywords that have brought your channel the most number of viewers.
Traffic from External Sources: These are the websites from where your YouTube channel videos got most of their referral traffic.
Video Performance: This section dives deep into the performance of each of your videos published during the time period you have opted for. The metrics which represent their performance include:
- Views
- Likes
- Comments
- Shares
- Avg. View Duration
You can sort the list by ascending or descending order in regard to any of these metrics. There are go-to buttons beside the name of every video, which, once clicked, will take you to YouTube and open that video. Readily reshare your best content directly from this list using the “Reshare” button adjacent to the performance data of the relevant video.
