How to Install Socialpilot Into Shopify?

Add SocialPilot App to Shopify

1. Go to your Shopify dashboard, navigate to Apps. 

   

2. Visit the Shopify App Store.

   

3. Search for "SocialPilot - Auto Social Post" in the search bar.

   

   
   

4. Click on Install to start the installation process.

   

5. You’ll be redirected to a page where a pop-up will appear. Click on the Install button at the bottom of the pop-up.

   

6. Now you will see the homescreen of the SocialPilot app, where you can set it up.

   

7. Click on the Start Your Free Trial button or go to the Plans option under SocialPilot on the left menu panel, which will take you to the available plans for the SocialPilot app.

   

8. Select whether you want to subscribe to the monthly or yearly subscription, click on Try for Free, and then enter your payment information. Payment will only be deducted when your free trial ends and you decide to continue with the subscription.

   

9. Once the payment details are added, click on Approve.
10. Now, go to the Setup tab on the left menu panel.

11. The new API key will already be populating the given field. Click on Save API key.

    

You’re all set! Now, you can create content in Shopify and share it directly across your connected social media accounts.

How to Share Shopify Products on Social Media?

Once the SocialPilot app is set up, follow these steps to create and share posts for your products:

Connect Account

1. Log into your Shopify dashboard. 

2. Locate Apps in the left menu panel and select SocialPilot.

   

3. Click on the SocialPilot app and go to the Connect Account screen.

   

4. Here, link the social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) where you want to share and promote your products. Follow the prompts to authenticate and connect each platform.

   

Create and Schedule Post

You can create a new post using one of the following methods:

1. After connecting your accounts, click on the Create Post tab. 

2. Create entirely new content: Write your post with hashtags.

   

3. You can also just select a product from your store and let the AI generate content (including captions and hashtags) for it.

4. If you have pre-saved posts and hashtags in your SocialPilot library, you can fetch them and add them to create a post on Shopify.

   

5. Select the date and time you want your post to go live from their drop-down menus.

   

6. Then choose the social media accounts where you want to post.
7. Once your post is ready, click the Schedule option.

Manage Your Posts

Go to the Manage Posts tab to view your queued posts and those that have been successfully posted.

From here, you can also delete or immediately share your posts as needed.

6. Paste the API key into the designated field in the SocialPilot app settings in Shopify, then save your changes.
