How To Bulk Edit Scheduled Posts in SocialPilot

When the same post is scheduled across multiple platforms or accounts, even small last-minute changes or updates, like fixing a typo or updating a link, can require editing each post individually. Bulk Edit simplifies this process by letting you update multiple scheduled posts in one place.

With Bulk Edit, you can edit captions, replace specific words, update media, and reschedule publishing times across selected posts at once so that your published posts are always error-free.

This article walks you through how to use Bulk Edit to make quick, consistent updates without switching between individual posts.

How to Bulk Edit Scheduled Posts

Step 1: Open Manage Posts

Go to the sidebar, click on Manage Posts, and select Queued Posts to view all your scheduled posts.

Step 2: Select Posts for Bulk Editing

You will only see checkboxes for posts you have permission to edit, based on your role.

You can select up to 30 posts at a time for bulk editing.

The Bulk Edit button appears after you begin selecting posts and becomes active once you select two or more posts.

Click on Bulk Edit to get started.

Step 3: Edit Captions Across Posts

All selected post captions become editable.

You can update the caption in one post and copy-paste it into others to keep content consistent across platforms.

Step 4: Use Find and Replace

Use the search bar at the top to find and replace a specific word across captions.

  • Enter the word you want to change in the Find field.
  • Enter the new word in the Replace with field.

Results will appear automatically as you type.

You can preview how the replacement will appear before applying it by hovering over Replace All.

Choose whether to apply the change to a single post or across all selected posts.

An Undo option appears for 6 seconds if you want to revert the change.

You can also refine your search using:

  • Match case

  • Search within links (active only if the caption contains a link)

Step 5: Edit Media

Hover over the media in each post to see options for replacing or deleting it.

You can update media individually for each selected post.

Step 6: Reschedule Posts

Click on Reschedule All Posts on the right side to choose a new date and time for all selected posts.

If needed, you can also change the schedule of individual posts separately.

Step 7: Remove a Post From the Selection

If you don’t want changes applied to a specific post, remove it from the selected list by clicking on the delete icon next to the post.

Step 8: Save or Discard Changes

Click Save to apply all changes.

If you decide not to proceed at any time, close the editor. No changes will be saved.
