To share/schedule posts using a browser extension, follow these steps:
- Go to the webpage the content from which you want to share
Locate the SocialPilot browser extension in the top right corner of your screen and click on it.
Two options will be visible: Craft with AI and Create Post.
(i) If you select Craft with AI, you will be redirected to the Create Post page, where you'll find a complete post, AI-generated caption, and images included, ready to be scheduled. You can make any changes you see fit.
(ii) If you opt for Create Post, you'll be taken to the Create Post module, where the caption field will be auto-populated with the URL of the website you want to share.
You can customize your post with a manually added caption or select the text in the field to activate AI Pilot to enhance the caption you have written.
Then, select accounts and click on 'Add to Queue' (or any other scheduling options from the drop-down).
💡 According to Facebook API policy, third-party apps like SocialPilot are not allowed to pre-fill the content for you when you share any post on Facebook, which means users need to input the content that they'd like to share directly. Click here to know more about this Facebook policy.
While using the SocialPilot browser extension to share an image or an article post on Facebook, the system will not add any information as the post description under the Facebook customization tab.
So customize the message before you send it out since we are not allowed to autofill it for you.
Your post will be scheduled!
