How to Identify Lifetime Metrics on SocialPilot Reviews
Introduction
When you view reports on SocialPilot Reviews, the date picker at the top of the page lets you filter data by a specific time period. However, some metrics are unaffected by the date picker. They always reflect total accumulated data, not just within your selected date range.
SocialPilot Reviews uses visual indicators to let you quickly distinguish between:
- Time-bound metrics (affected by date range)
- Lifetime metrics (not affected by date range)

Where to Find the Label on a Metric Card
The data scope label appears directly on the metric card in your Reviews Analytics report, alongside the metric name. You do not need to navigate anywhere to find it. If a metric card has no label, it responds normally to your date picker selection.

Average Rating and Total Reviews in Analytics reflect lifetime values across supported platforms. The main metric tiles always display your current overall rating and total reviews, giving a more accurate representation of your business reputation.
| Metric | Label Shown | What it Means |
| Total Reviews | Lifetime | Total number of reviews received across all time |
| Average Rating | Lifetime | Overall rating calculated across all reviews |
Platforms and Report Types Covered
These lifetime metrics apply across the following platforms and report types:
Platforms: Google Business Profile, Facebook, Yelp, Tripadvisor, Trustpilot
Report Types:
- Platform Reports
- Location Reports
- Custom Reports
Note:
- This behavior applies only to the main metric tiles in Reviews Analytics.
- Other review-related metrics in reports continue to reflect the selected date range.
- Comparison view is not affected and continues to follow the selected date range.
Tips for Better Interpretation
- Always check for the lifetime indicator before comparing metrics across date ranges.
- The Average Rating and Total Reviews tiles reflect what your customers currently see on the platform — use these for reputation tracking, not trend analysis.
- For period-over-period performance analysis, rely on time-bound metrics that respond to your date picker.
