  • You must have an admin role on the Facebook page associated with your Instagram Business account. To check your role, go to the Facebook page, click on Settings, and then select Page Roles.

  • Ensure that the correct Facebook page is connected to your Instagram Business account. To verify this, switch to the relevant Facebook business page, navigate to the profile page, click on Manage to access the Professional dashboard, and then select Linked Accounts to view connected Instagram pages.

Follow the steps below to connect your Instagram Business Account:

  1. Begin by logging into your SocialPilot account and then click on Accounts > Connect Account from the sidebar menu. You will see a tile view of multiple social media platforms that can be connected with SocialPilot. Now, scroll down to find Instagram.
  2. Choose the Connection Type:
    • Connect Personal: This option allows you to connect any Instagram account (personal, business, or creator) without authentication. However, this connection only enables reminder notifications for scheduled posts.
    • Connect Business: Click on this option to connect your Instagram Business account with SocialPilot. This connection enables both post reminders and access to Instagram analytics.
  1. After selecting Connect Business, SocialPilot will redirect to a Facebook login page. Enter your credentials and grant all required permissions.
  2. On the SocialPilot profile connection page, you will see two sections:
    • Select Profile: View and select the Instagram Business profiles associated with your Facebook account. You can choose one or multiple accounts to connect.

    • Add to Groups: Select any groups you have created in SocialPilot where you want to add the connected Instagram Business account.
