On SocialPilot, you have three URL shorteners - Sniply, Rebrandly, and Bitly.

Here is how you can shorten URLs using each of them on SocialPIlot:

Sniply

8. Select the accounts you want to use Sniply for, add call-to-action on the link you share, and click on Apply button.

Now, whenever you post a link in the 'Create Post' section and select those accounts, it will automatically be shortened by Sniply, and the call-to-action buttons you selected for the links will also be added.

Why Can't I Use URL Shortening for Pinterest?

Pinterest detects shortened URLs as spam. Hence, you can't publish posts with shortened URLs on Pinterest. To know more about you, you can click on this link.

Does URL Shortening Work in the New Create Post Experience?

Yes, URL shortening fully works in the new Create Post experience—but the URL Shortener control is not always visible by default. It only appears when your caption contains at least one link. Once a URL is detected, the shortener toggle becomes active.

1. The toggle stays visible even when Customize is turned ON.

Since URL shortening is a post-level setting (not platform-specific), it is always shown above the Platform Options once a link is detected.

2. URL shortening works uniformly across all selected accounts.

Even if you have platform-specific drafts enabled through Customize, the URL shortener toggle controls the entire post, not individual platforms.

3. Turning the toggle OFF disables shortening for the entire post.

If you switch the URL shortener OFF inside a customized caption, it still applies globally — all platforms will publish the original (unshortened) URLs.

4. Turning it ON applies the assigned shortener for every selected account.

Each account uses its own connected shortener (Bitly, Rebrandly, or Sniply).

5. Preview will reflect the shortened link so you can confirm how it looks before scheduling.

6. Pinterest does not support shortened URLs.

For Pinterest accounts, SocialPilot automatically uses the full URL even if shortening is enabled.
